“Te reomāori is the sound of Aotearoa and I want to be able to speak it. But wow
where do you start? I’ve spent 57 years mispronouncing placenames and having
no clue about te reo māori. The answer is have Ri as your kaiako. She creates
a relaxed and forgiving place to learn that’s fun with a capital F. She cleverly
wraps waiata and games around the hard stuff: pronunciation, vocabulary, and
grammar. When you are having fun you learn and I’m learning heaps with Ri.”
